WHAT IS GREAT
DESIGN?
Following the Dieter Rams maxim “Less But Better”, great design should solve a problem in the most efficient and honest way. Merely following a step-by-step process commonly results in design that’s ‘good enough’ but not great. Good design gives people what they say they want, great design innovatively solves problems in unexpected ways. I've chosen to only blog about designs that I have personally experienced as I believe it’s important to interact with these objects in a physical domain to fully appreciate or comment on their design; good, great or bad.
